A. Robert Picardo shows off his voice again in "Beta Test", spending the
diplomatic reception in the episode singing opera duets with an alien
woman to entertain the guests.

on Discovery).
5. Which species were similar to the Kaylons in the Orville on SF Academy?
A. The Kasqians were once artificial lifeforms built to serve organics,
are apprehensive about reestablishing contact with other organic lifeforms
because they don't want to go back to being slaves, and sent a
representative into the outside world to assess the current state of
organics. This makes them very similar to the Kaylon from The Orville,
who were themselves heavily based on the Automated Units from
Star Trek: Voyager.
