A system in Germany on BGP/Amprnet (in other words NOT using the UCSD mesh)
was compromzied and used as a spam host. Unfortunately Gus' JNOS was
victim to a flood of incoming SMTP mails to which were rewritten for
global pbbs delivery.
Both the compromized machine and Gus' JNOS hav been taken care of so I'm
informed.
