Hello friends
Due to damage from Hurricane Ian, none of the WRMI transmissions of Shortwave Radiogram was broadcast last weekend.
Accordingly, we will repeat last week's program 274 this weekend, on all the WRMI and WINB times and frequencies.
As I type this email, WRMI has returned to the air on (in order of restoration): 5950, 9395, 9455, 9955 and 5800 kHz. You will note that of these, only 9955 kHz is a Shortwave Radiogram frequency.
Time is running short for 15770, 7730, 5850 and 7780 kHz to return to the air in time for this weekend's Shortwave Radiogram broadcasts. If they do not, I will decide whether there should be another week of repeats -- and let you know.
A video of last weekend's Shortwave Radiogram (program 261) is provided by Scott in Ontario (he usually records Friday at 1300 UTC, but anticipating the absence of WRMI's 15770 kHz, he recorded Thursday at 2330 UTC, 9265 kHz from WINB). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. Analysis is prepared by Roger in Germany.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 274, repeated (from the previous week) 6-11 October 2022, in MFSK modes as noted:
1:35 MFSK32: Program preview
2:41 MFSK32: What do coyotes in New York City eat?*
9:44 MFSK64: Charge EVs at night or day?
14:26 MFSK64: This week's images*
27:24 MFSK32: Closing announcements
