Pacific Ocean MonitoringThe
Pacific is experiencing a simultaneous reactivation of organized weather
disturbances:
Potential Tropical Cyclone One-C: Located approximately 900 miles
(1,440 kilometers) east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. It has an extreme
probability (90éof officially becoming a tropical storm within the next
few hours.
Low-Pressure System South of Central America: An active zone of
thunderstorms is being monitored south of Mexico and Central America.
While its 7-day development probability remains low-to-medium (30õ
it is projected to generate torrential rains and flash flooding along the
Central American Pacific coast over the weekend.
