As my old 486 harddrive died i run in some dificultys connecting another
8,4 gb hd.
the old 486 does not accept it.
This is a problem but there is a solution for it how to fool the bios.
But reading some stuff i came across a ide to sd card converter.
as i already have an usb floppy emulator with loads an usb stick with
several floppys i intend to order this converter pcb.
it can be ordered on ebay or amazon etc. and i have seen them for 16 euro.
Here is as url with some interesting info how to get stuff going.
A gotek usb floppy drive could come in handy for making the install disc
for the ontrack disk manager.
