v1.9.18 9df34e9
Warning
Mercury 1.9.18 does not talk to Mercury 1.9.17 or any older version over
the air, in either direction. A 1.9.18 station and a 1.9.x station never connect.
Upgrade every station of a network together (on HERMES, the gateway and
all its remote stations in the same window).
Read Upgrading to 1.9.18 before upgrading. It says what an operator sees with
mixed versions, how to upgrade, and what was tested before this release.
"
K7EK wil upgrade to Mercury v1.9.18 later this afternoon, giving this bulletin
time to make it through BBS forwarding channels.

often to insure that you have the most up to date information.

BPQ32 BBS is K7EK.
BPQ32 Netrom Node is K7EK-7.
Winlink RMS is K7EK-10.
BPQ32 Worldwide Chat is K7EK-11.
Make sure you choose the correct SSID for what it is you are trying to connect. Some
have connected to the BPQ32 BBS, K7EK, when they thought they were connecting to
the Winlink RMS. Their messages stayed on the BBS and did not make it to Winlink
without manual system operator intervention.
Best regards,
