By analyzing the European r-lines about the whole adopt since
the first years 1990 the two-letter EU for our continent.
The use of four-letter was invented to manage old MSDOS programs
running the TCP/IP.
I have multiple PBBS running on the same linux server and they
don't create any conflicts at all...
In the today situation there are about 400 packet systems in
the world and the means to communicate each other is normally
the use of 'telnet' or the AXIP/AXUDP on top the AX.25 or via
NetRom/INP3 protocols, etc. So, being the thing as just
reminded, I could use also simply 'i0ojj', pippo, pluto, and
so on, to identify my system... :)
But if the matter is not understood it is not my problem :)
