Running Lubuntu 20.04LTS w/Xastir 2.1.9
Trying unsuccessfully to install OSM tiles so as to read OSM maps stored
from online. Lots of inquiries regarding the same in the net with a lot
of completely different piecemeal help, none of which has resulted in a
map yet. Could someone please provide a real world example of what types
of OSM files need to be installed in which exact directories. I have
large directories of (for example) Mapnik OSM files typically 2 layers of
numbered folders with sets of numbered .png files in the last layer.
I have Mapnik .dbf files that are packaged with the OSM tiles. I have also
Mapnik .inf and can convert these to .geo if required but just can't seem
to understand or figure out where to put a selection of files in order to
view one type of OSM (such as Mapnik...though I have others as well).

Any real-example help (not generic Linux help) appreciated - Thanks!
