3C2MD SURVEY --- > The Mediteraneo DX Club is conducting a survey to deter-
mine the most in-demand bands and modes for their 3C2MD DXpedition to Bioko

3Y0K ---> All the equipment for the 2026 DXpedition to Bouvet is bound for
Oslo this week and next, LA7GIA posted to Facebook on 14 August. "The logis-
tics involved in getting all the equipment selected, designed, tested,
packed and shipped to Norway has involved many persons, manufacturers,
helpers and hard work for a long time. We started developing the 3Y0K DXpe-
dition in April 2023, and it has taken us more than 2 years to get to this
stage where soon all the equipment will be loaded into a container located
in Nittedal, just outside Oslo, Norway. This container will not only be
loaded with equipment, but other essentials like tents, provisions, safety
and emergency equipment, evacuation gear, QRO generators and a lot more.
Our goal is to conduct a safe and sound DXpedition where our ability to
adapt to the changing conditions is important. Four team members have expe-
rience from Bouvet Island 2023, and know what to expect - I can guarantee we
will get onshore!" In two weeks, they will pay the $400,000 deposit for the
vessel. By the time they ship the container in mid-September, they will have
spent a total of $1,000,000 on this DXpedition, not to mention the thousands
of hours of hard work involved.

KH7AL/KH9 ---> Allen left Wake Island permanently at the end of July. On 12
August, he announced via X that he had accepted a position at home in Mon-
tana, meaning that he will not be returning to Wake on 6 September as previ-
ously anticipated [425DXN 1786]. "Wake Island was an amazing experience for
me, largely thanks to our ham radio community", he says. According to Club
Log, KH7AL/KH9 made 20,572 QSOs 28 November 2024 and 25 July 2025.

QSL KI6LT/ZD8 ---> The QSL route for Larry's recent activity (July 2025)
from Ascension Island is via N2OO (OQRS on https://www.oqrs.net/n2oo/).
Cards already sent to KI6LT will be redirected to N2OO. QSLs will be printed
soon.

WW DIGI DX CONTEST ---> This year's edition of the World Wide Digi DX
Contest ("WW Digi") will take place on 30-31 August (from 12:00 UTC to 11:59
UTC). The objective is for amateurs around the world to contact as many
other amateurs in as many Maidenhead Grid Fields as possible using the FT4
and FT8 modes on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m. See https://ww-digi.com/ for
complete information. WW Digi is a collaboration between the World Wide
